Media Technician

Monmouth Presbytery is in need of a volunteer who will be able to edit video footage taken from various Presbytery meetings, seminars and other events, and prepare/upload them to video sharing web sites such as Vimeo and YouTube.  This person would also be responsible for updating the media pages on the Presbytery’s website with embedded links to the videos and will need to work in conjunction with the Presbytery’s website administrator.

Talents or Abilities Desired

-         Experience with videotaping, camcorders and operating video recording equipment.

-         Available to record events.

-         Familiarity with a variety of video formats such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVCHD, Apple QuickTime, Windows Media and Adobe Flash. 

-         Familiarity with video conversion software and compression codecs. 

-         Experience with video editing software.  Knowledge of video sharing web sites such as Vimeo, YouTube, Veoh and Tangle and familiarity with uploading videos to such sites. 

-         Proficient computer skills
