Presbyterian Foundation Since 1799, the Foundation has been serving the Church and its mission. While many "foundations" are grant-making organizations, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation is not. The Foundation receives and administers gifts from individuals, as well as manages funds for Presbyterian churches and organizations. All gifts are invested and proceeds distributed solely and specifically according to the instructions of the donors. This is both our legal responsibility and our fiduciary duty, and thus the Foundation is not free to fulfill requests for grants from individuals or organizations.
